Compact Switchboard

The Compact Switchgear consists of a set of electrical devices (vertical switch-disconnectors, busbars, isolators and others), mounted in a box intended for the maneuvering and protection of secondary circuits.

Used for powering residential and commercial buildings with installed capacity of up to 1,000 kVA and secondary voltage of 380/220V and 220/127V, via aerial or underground mains power and to service consumers whose level of short-circuit at the point of delivery does not exceed the symmetrical current limit of 65 kA.

Technical Characteristics
The metal panel of the QDC is made of sheet steel with a minimum thickness of 1.90 mm (plate # 14), using appropriate tooling to allow a perfect finishing, as well as having its component parts adjusted to each other, thus ensuring degree of protection of IP 2X.

The inner and outer finish paint uses high strength synthetic paint in the standard Munsell N 6.5 light gray color with a minimum thickness of 75 microns.

The doors have sealing devices and internal hinges that allow the minimum opening of 110º.

The lower base of the QDC panel has an opening throughout the projection area of the input switch-disconnectors to enable the handling of the input cables and the installation of the current transformers of the totalized measurement range.
